Showing up for our kids, so they can do the same.

Through planning support with school staff, convening community partners for curriculum enrichment, and hands on support, A+ Schools is working to ensure schools such as Perry High School are places where all students are engaged and learning.

Schools are successful when communities come together to support all kids to achieve.

A+ Schools knows that when kids miss just two days of school each month, it can harm their learning, decrease their interest in school, and create larger gaps that affect their future opportunities. That’s why they are putting A to Z Funds to work to provide direct supports for basic needs, enrichment opportunities, and resource coordination.

Here’s how they’re making a difference:

Safe and Reliable School Access:

The Northside can be a place where all kids can get to school safely and on time.

Family Support for Learning Readiness:

Every family has what they need so their kids come to school ready to learn.

Inclusive and Thriving Schools:

Every school is a place where students and staff feel they belong and are excited to learn at.

Things are a lot better at Perry High School from where they were. But is there still a lot of work to be done? Yes.
